How to order
Portraits are created from quality reference photos that you provide. A 25% non-refundable deposit is expected once medium and size are decided. Visit the contact page to email me and begin discussing your preferences for commissioned art.
Your reference photos
Your pet portrait is based on the quality of the photograph you supply. Photos should be clear and in focus. From this I will create an artistic interpretation of your reference photo. If you supply a photo that you did not take, please make sure you have permission from the photographer in compliance with copyright laws.
Delivery
Commissioned pieces come with an off-white mount ready for you to frame. Listed sizes are the outside edge of the mount. The actual art piece is the size within the mount. The prices do not include shipping.

Commissioning a Portrait
I have been doing portraits for over 30 years and my goal is to provide you with a pet portrait that will bring you joy for years to come. My choice of medium is pen and ink with a watercolor, pastel or pencil wash. My style is not "realistic" (looks like a photograph), it is "artistic" (unique capture of color and expression).
